This vehicle is the backbone to getting me to my clients wherever they are. So its only right that its looked after every now and again. Many thanks to Atlas Valeting for a cracking job done, getting “her” gleaming again after a full day’s pampering!

So last weekend we worked through a weekend (finishing on Sunday evening in the dark) to help get a new clients operators their ALLMI Lorry Loader qualifications. All delegates achieved the required standard, after the practical elements were assessed. A period of familiarisation & specific training is now recommended for the 3 delegates working with their more experienced colleagues for them to learn on the job training. Good luck to all – ALLMI Slinger/Signaller training has been recommended to them to help them understand how to safely lift & attach different loads and how to use different types of lifting accessories.

A massive thanks from myself to this fantastic team of translators from 2 Sisters Food Group at Willand who took the time to translate the Forklift & PPT Theory questions into their own respective languages. This will save lots of time for the new delegates being trained on site moving forward from now on. Many thanks to (from left to right) Alvydas, Sergiu, Stanislav & Justyna. A great effort from a great team of people. 🙂

Today was day 2 of a 3 day counter balance forklift course for a long standing client, happy to keep supporting them with their development of their staff across all their shifts and departments.

The delegate is developing his skills nicely, here we see him negotiating the confined chicane with a 1000kg “live load” as part of his ongoing development.

Happy to report that this week I am supporting two of the biggest companies in the South West with their forklift training. Starting with some counter balance training for 3 delegates, all of the staff have an excellent attitude towards learning and are progressing very well as they strive to aim for the highest standards possible.

Yesterday was ALLMI Lorry Loader training in Cornwall. The delegate was experienced and had a few bad habits by his own admission, but he was happy to take advice to keep him at the required very high ALLMI standards.

Yesterday I also had my annual ALLMI audit, the auditor was very experienced and a great help to me. I try to gain more knowledge & information from all my experiences from the audit process. Pleased to say I passed with high marks awarded. But I never become complacent and take what I do very seriously. This week has been spent training for a training company in Derbyshire. Some novice counter balance forklift training for 2 cracking delegates. Both were successful at the end of the course.
